Let’s talk about your Zone of Genius.

Picture a bullseye with four rings.
Now walk yourself through them.

1. The Outer Ring: Tasks You Don’t Like Doing at All

Take one minute and make a list.
Bet it comes fast.

2. The Next Ring: Things You Tolerate

These aren’t painful. They’re just “meh.”
You don’t hate them, but they don’t light you up either.

3. The Next Ring (The Danger Zone): Things You’re Good At

This one’s tricky. You’re good at these tasks, so you keep doing them.
They only cost a little energy, which makes them sneaky.
Take three minutes and be honest.
This is where most creatives get stuck.

4. The Bullseye: Your Zone of Genius

These are the one to three things you’re great at and love doing.
The work that lights you up and comes naturally.
Take five minutes and write them down.
This is your genius zone.
Ideally, your calendar should be filled with only these things.

My Story: The Leap That Changed Everything

I know what you might be thinking:
“Okay Ash, but how do I get there? It’s just me right now.”

I learned this lesson the hard way.

Back in 2015, I spent $1,000 on a marketing company to run Facebook ads.
And I didn’t tell my wife.

She’s logical, black and white, not a risk-taker.

But that year, those ads helped bring in $250,000 in revenue.

Now, I’m not saying lie to your person.
And I’m not saying spend money you don’t have.

What I am saying is this:
Sometimes business is a leap of faith.

I had the cash.
I had the knowledge to sell and nurture leads.
I had two out of the three pieces I needed.

And I leapt.

Your Turn: Step Into Your Genius Zone

Ask yourself this:

👉 Do you have two out of the three things you need to start building your life and business around your genius?

If yes →
Tell your person.
Take the leap.
Commit.

If no →
What do you need to get there?
Is it education, persistence, or accountability?

If one of the pieces you’re missing is support or accountability, that’s exactly what The Hive™ was built for.

Final Thoughts

Your Zone of Genius is magic.
And you’ll do your best work when you’re in it.

Take the time to find it, protect it, and build around it.
Because when you do, your creativity, confidence, and income all grow together.

Right here with you,
Ash 💛
